Dr. Sam Lee Joins Global
Communication Semiconductors as New CEO
Torrance,

Global
Communication Semiconductors (GCS) Inc., a pure-play III-V compound
semiconductor wafer foundry, announced today the selection of Dr.
Sam Lee as its new CEO.

am extremely pleased to appoint Dr. Sam Lee as Chief Executive
Officer of Global Communication Semiconductors.
I have known Sam for years and finally have the opportunity
to work with him. Sam’s
past experiences and triumphs are an ideal fit for GCS.” Comments Don Brooks,

CEO, Sam will report directly to the Board of Directors and be
responsible for GCS’ growth and profitability.

excited to have Dr. Sam Lee joined GCS” commented by Dr. Owen Wu,
founder and Chief Strategy Officer of GCS. Sam has
28 years of semiconductor experience with 23 of those years in high
profile leadership roles with companies such as Fairchild, Motorola,
Raytheon Semiconductor, AMCC and TRW LSI. He has been responsible
for profitable sales growth and increased market share at these
companies. Sam received his Ph.D. from Ohio State University.
