POSITIONS:
Senior Application Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Act as a source of technical expertise to ensure growing sales,
excellent standards of semiconductor process design kits, and
quality customer service on complex engineering matters. Will
be responsible for providing semiconductor processing technical
support and applications development for GCS's North American and
global customers. Will
also be responsible for communication of the company's process
Design Rule Check details, preparation of quality and
reliability reports compliant to industry (JEDEC) standards. As
the senior interface between the sales division and foundry
management, the Senior Application Engineer will be responsible
for the design and development of evaluation boards, plus test,
characterization and modeling of semiconductor devices,
applying principles of electrical and electronic theory, design and
engineering. He will support application requirements by
characterizing and modeling compound semiconductor device cells that
meet customer performance requirements, creating semiconductor
device design kits and models including layout, and verifying
design kits by comparison to measured device data.
Senior Application Engineer will setup and maintain complex
test stations, as required for device development and sales support,
to supply customers and foundry manufacturers with complete data
packages along with application evaluation boards for Radio
Frequency and wireless applications.
EDUCATION
AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
M.S.
degree in Electrical Engineering is the minimum qualification
required for this position
